In Scandinavia Winters can be long, dark and cold - and the moon lights up like a comforting friend in the night.
Even in the Summer, when the evenings are bright, you will see the moon in the sky as a secret companion to the Sun.
The moon is an icon in Scandinavian culture.
We were inspired to call our duo "Moonshine Movers" from the idea of dancing to music all night long - enjoying yourself as minutes and hours pass - moving the moon from one corner of the horizon to the next.

MOONSHINE MOVERS is a Danish female reggae duo founded in 2021. We provide music rooted in the diverse world of Reggae Music. Our musical creations come from years of deep and sincere love AND respect for Roots Reggae, Lovers Rock and Steppas, but you will also find Dancehall and more popish Reggae in our repertoire. We are inspired by the Jamaican and British reggae sound, but we strive to make music including our Scandinavian culture. Music to us is dynamic and something that needs to grow and develop, and we are humbly trying to leave our musical foot print in this world.
Our songs reflect insight and experience both in expression and performance.The music is produced by like-minded people in this musical genre such as: DJ Johnson (Andreas Heding aka Youngblood), Jørn "Skippah" Husum, Dean Thompson, Tormod Holm, Ole Enghoff Brockmann, Adil Nadri (Jahdil) and several others.
